NOTICE: The date on your purchased product is not an expiration date!
As of 04/21/2016 Powder City is dating items with a "manufactured on" (or "born on") date rather than the "expiration" date previously displayed. This date represents the day on which the product in the bag or bottle was manufactured. Any product manufactured prior to 04/21/2016 will still provide an expiration date.
Why the change to a "Manufactured On" date?
Powder City has changed how we date our products based on the FDA's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations. This change is due to regulatory requirements and does not represent a change in the quality of Powder City's products.
There has been no change to the product itself.
Our products continue to meet and exceed quality testing standards. All Powder City products have been and continue to be tested in the same way to ensure the product meets specific standards for quality and potency.
How long is the product good for?
In most cases, products are considered stable at full potency for two years from the "manufactured on" date.
While some products are more susceptible to the elements than others and could clump or harden, they are still considered stable and potent. Breaking up clumps or hardened powders is recommended to achieve proper dosing. We suggest a mortar and pestle or something similar to break down the larger clumps that may occur over time.
